About Us |
We want to:Þ work closely with the Franklin County School and the Apalachicola Bay Charter School Systems to identify student and district educational challenges & needs
Þ encourage community involvement and ownership of innovative projects that improve educational opportunities within the public school system
Þ support programs that stimulate teacher recruitment and retention
Þ encourage grant applications from educators that innovatively focus on literacy, arts education, technical and career education, STEM education, low-performing students, world exploration, and leadership skills within the public school system
Þ nurture interagency partnerships and collaborations in meeting our county’s educational needs
Þ Mentor students in a Youth Advisory Council (YAC) to give them an active voice in their educational experiences
Þ Provide school supplies for every student through the Tools for Learning Collaborative (TLC) |
